We thank you for showing interest in our project – the museum «The Filimonovo Toy», for your interest in national culture and art, russian history. Because the history of  native land is the base for creating national idea, that is talked about so much.

The museum «The Filimonovo toy» is the first(!) museum, that is devoted to that handicraft for its almost 600-year existence. In the October 2011 we celebrated only 2 years from our foundation. During that period we have done a lot. First of all –  gathered toys and material bit by bit. But there is still a lot of work connected with the restoration of the building, replacement of the roof, territory upkeep and e.t.c.

Unfortunately, we are not able to to everything by ourselves, because we don`t have enough resources. We ask everybody who has an opportunity to help in the development of the museum as the base for saving the Filimonovo Toy. It can be building materials, finances and even volunteer help.

Even if you can`t provide any help – just visit our museum. Your attention to the Filimonovo Toy is already a big support for the museum.
